How it works
Where players start, how a bus route runs, riders and tips, and how players get paid.
Where players start
Players go to the Bus Depot blip and target the depot worker. The options there are:
- Bus Depot opens the job menu.
- Swap Uniform puts on the work uniform (when
clothing_enabledis on). - End Route ends your shift and removes the bus. It shows while you are working.
The job menu has six pages:
| Page | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Overview | Today's money, XP and routes, and the daily reward |
| Progress | Your level, its bonuses and what the next levels unlock |
| Vehicles | Buy and select buses |
| Jobs | Every route with its area, level, pay and stops. Start a route here |
| Riders Log | Every rider you have picked up and how often |
| Leaderboards | Most experience and most routes completed |
A route
- On Jobs, pick a route you have the level for and start it. Your selected bus spawns at the depot with your keys.
- Drive to the stop marked on your map. Riders appear at the stop as you get close.
- Stop inside the bus stop marker and wait until the bus is fully stopped. The bus is held in place while riders get on and off.
- Riders who tip pay you in cash as they board. Each rider gets off at a later stop on the route.
- At the last stop the remaining riders get off and you are paid in cash. The same route starts again right away.
- Keep driving, or go back to the depot and choose End Route to clock out.
The route only starts if your level is high enough and your selected bus has enough seats for it. Otherwise you see "You must be level X to start this route." or "Your bus does not have enough seats for this route."
If you leave the bus, a 120-second countdown starts. Get back in before it ends, or the route is abandoned and the bus is removed.
