How it works

Where players start, groups, how a garbage route runs, finds in the trash, Waste Bucks and the payment table.

Where players start

Players go to the Garbage Center blip and target the worker. The options there are:

  • Garbage Center opens the job menu.
  • View Group opens the group manager.
  • Swap Uniform puts on the work uniform (when clothing_enabled is on).
  • End Route cancels the current route. It shows while a route is running.

Next to the worker is the payment table, where players choose Collect Payment.

The job menu has six pages:

PageWhat it shows
OverviewYour level progress, Waste Bucks, XP gained today, routes toward the daily reward, and the group manager
ProgressYour level, its bonuses and what the next levels unlock
JobsEvery route with its kind, level, group size and pay, and any cooldown left. Start or cancel a route here
UpgradesThe four upgrades, bought with Waste Bucks

Groups

Routes take one to four players. A few need at least two, and some allow only two. Open View Group, create a group and invite nearby workers. Only the group leader can start or cancel a route. Everyone in the group gets the truck keys when group_keys is on, and the pay is split when split_pay is on.

A route

  1. On Jobs, the leader picks a route the group has the level and the right size for, and starts it. A garbage truck spawns at the Garbage Center.
  2. Drive to the stop marked on your map.
  3. Target a piece of trash and choose Pickup Trash, then carry it to the back of the truck and choose Load Trash. The popup shows how many pieces you have collected in the zone and how many it needs.
  4. When the stop is cleared, the next one is marked. On a Location Cleanup the job places the trash at each stop. On an Area Cleanup you clear a set amount of any trash inside the marked area.
  5. After the last stop you see "Payment is on the table at the Garbage Center". Drive back, park the truck and get out to return it.
  6. At the payment table, choose Collect Payment for your cash, XP and Waste Bucks.

Pay waits on the table until you collect it, even over several routes or a restart.

Some routes have a cooldown for the player or for the whole server. Starting one too soon shows "Route is on Cooldown".

Finds and hazards

Each piece of trash you load can turn up materials, such as copper, rubber, plastic, glass, iron or metalscrap, depending on the kind of trash. Now and then you cut your hand or get poked by a needle and lose a little health. Reinforced Work Gloves lower that chance.

Waste Bucks

Waste Bucks are the job's own currency. Every route pays some, and the daily reward pays 1,000. Spend them on Upgrades (Waste Bucks Boost, faster pickups, faster loading, work gloves) and in the Shop on materials such as plastic, copper and steel.

Progress and rewards

  • Every route gives XP. Higher levels add a money and XP bonus.
  • After five routes in a day, claim the daily reward on Overview: $1,000, 1,250 XP, 1,000 Waste Bucks and a stack of plastic, glass or copper.

The job has no commands.
