Installation

#1. Download the resource

Put the gg_electricianjob folder in your server's resources folder and keep its name.

#2. Install the dependencies

These need to be installed and started before the script. Skip any you already run:

You also need ox_target or qb-target. The job finds your framework, inventory and target on its own. To force one, see Configuration.

#3. Install bl_ui

Installation Crew and Field Repair Technician use the bl_ui minigames for their skill checks. Download bl_ui v2.1.0 from its GitHub release.

Important Name the folder exactly bl_ui. A folder named bl_ui-2.1.0 or bl_ui-main does not count, and Installation Crew stops at the install step. Start bl_ui before gg_electricianjob.

If you do not want bl_ui, switch those skill checks to ox_lib instead. See Use ox_lib skill checks instead of bl_ui.

#4. Check the reward items

Every job can give plastic and copper, and the daily challenge gives Plastic, Glass or Copper. Make sure these items exist in your inventory, or change them in the config files. See Configuration. The job needs no other items.

#5. Add it to server.cfg

Add these lines in this order. Skip lines for resources you already start, and keep your framework, inventory and target above them.

ensure oxmysql
ensure ox_lib
ensure bl_ui
ensure gg_electricianjob

There is no SQL to run. The tables are created on the first start.

#Check it works

1. Restart your server and check the console for errors from gg_electricianjob.
2. Go to the Electrical Center blip and target the worker. The job menu opens.
3. On Jobs, start Maintenance Technician. A fuse panel in the yard is outlined. Target it, choose Repair and finish the puzzle to get paid.
