Common problems
Fixes for the problems server owners report most with Advanced Towing Job.
The flatbed has no bed, or the console shows GetEntityModel or "GetNetworkObject: no object by ID" errors
Before 1.0.4 the bed props shared their model names with other tow resources, so the wrong bed loaded or none did. Update to the latest version and replace both gg_towjob and gg_towjob_props. The beds are now gg_towbed_base and gg_towbed_extended.
"Tow bed is not ready" on a truck you added
The job spawns its own bed prop on each flatbed. A truck model with a bed built in clashes with it. Use a model without a bed and add it to cfg.jobs.vehicles in config/shared/jobs.lua, copying the offsets of a stock flatbed as a start.
A tow truck spawned from the admin menu has no bed or remote
The bed and the remote only work on a truck rented on the Work page. Rent the truck through the job instead of spawning it with F8 or an admin menu.
"You don't have a tow truck rented" when using the remote
gg_towing_remote only works while your group has a rented flatbed. Rent one on Work first.
Anyone can work the job
The job is open to everyone by default. Set job on the Tow Yard location, as shown in Configuration, then restart gg_towjob.
Changes do not show in /ggsettings
Advanced Towing Job is not in the /ggsettings menu. Edit the files in gg_towjob/config/shared/ and restart the resource.
"Target system required for script to function"
The job needs ox_target or qb-target. Install one and start it before gg_towjob in server.cfg.
No keys for the truck with qbx_vehiclekeys
The Qbox txAdmin recipe installs the main branch of qbx_vehiclekeys, which ignores the key request the job sends, and the request also fails when the qbx_vehiclekeys bridge is off. Install the qbx_vehiclekeys v1.0.2 release (the whole folder) and add this line to server.cfg, then restart. The keys arrive a moment after the truck spawns.
setr qbx_vehiclekeys:enableBridge "true"
No keys with cd_garage when its key system is off
The job gives keys through cd_garage whenever it is started, even with its keys turned off. In core/lib/miniBridge/client.lua, under -- MARK: Add Keys, delete the cd_garage branch (the elseif GetResourceState('cd_garage') line and the two lines under it). Your other key script then gets the keys.
Fuel does not work with qb-sna-fuel
qb-sna-fuel is not in the fuel list, so the job sets the game's own fuel level. In core/lib/miniBridge/client.lua, replace esx-sna-fuel with qb-sna-fuel in the four places it appears, two under -- MARK: Get Fuel and two under -- MARK: Set Fuel. Both scripts use the same GetFuel and SetFuel exports.
The console shows </1>, an escrow error or "Failed to verify protected resource"
The download is damaged or incomplete. Download the latest version again from Granted Assets, replace both folders completely, and restart the whole server. If it still fails, post the console error in the Discord.
