Building and Global tracks
How racers build a track, publish it to your city, and post it to Global for every server.
Build a track
Racers open the track builder from the tablet's Tracks tab. By default it opens only inside a racing garage (Where Tracks Are Built under Tracks). The builder takes the racer out of the world while they work: they place checkpoints and props along the route, then take the track's picture.
Test and publish
- Drive a test run to the finish. Leaving the run early does not count.
- Publish the track. It shows on your city's tracks under Community, and any racer there can race it.
A published track stays as it is. To change it, make a copy.
Post it to Global
A published track can go up to Global, where racers on every Racing System server can race it. Every track on Global is also on the website: ggstudio.store/tracks.
A track on Global:
- is 250 m to 40 km long, with checkpoints 8 m to 2.5 km apart, up to 100 checkpoints and 200 props;
- keeps every prop within 200 m of the route, and no more than 40 within 30 m;
- needs a test run from the last week and the picture from the track builder.
Each racer can post one track a day. Posting needs FiveM signed in to a Cfx.re account.
Track codes
Every published track has a six letter and number code, like K7M2QX. It is on the track's page on the tablet and on the website. Paste a code into the Tracks search on the tablet to find that track.
Codes also pick racers' tracks in /ggsettings:
| Setting | Where | What the codes do |
|---|---|---|
| Ranked Tracks | Tracks | These tracks can host ranked races on your server, and show as Verified there. |
| Event Track Codes | Races | These tracks join the City Event rotation. |
Turn it off
- Player Tracks off: racers cannot build tracks.
- Global Tracks off: no Global tab and no posting. Racers can still build and publish tracks for your city.
