Installation
Install Speaker System and its props, add the items, and start it in the right order.
1. Download the resources
Download gg_speakersystem from your Cfx.re portalOpens your granted assets filtered to it. Sign in with the Cfx.re account that bought it.Open portalThe download holds two folders, gg_speakersystem and gg_speakersystem_props. Put both in your server's resources folder and keep their names. The props resource streams every speaker, tablet and the LS Audio shop interior, so the script cannot run without it.
2. Install the dependencies
These need to be installed and started before the script. Skip any you already run:
Speaker System needs gg_lib 1.0.18 or newer. With an older one, the server console prints a red line saying so, and the items do not work.
Then add yourself as an admin in gg_lib so you can open Script Studio. gg_lib connects the script to your framework, inventory, target and phone on its own.
3. Add the items
Add the 13 items and their images to your inventory. Follow Items and pick your inventory there.
4. Set up the phone app
Players control their speakers from the Speaker Connect phone app. gg_lib adds it on its own on every supported phone. If you run more than one phone, pick yours on the Bridges page in Script Studio.
JPR Phone and RoadPhone Pro need a one-time manual install. Follow Phone app setup.
5. Add the job
The LS Audio shop is run by the Simmet Sound job, simmetsound. On Qbox and QBCore the script creates it by itself, with no pay, if your server does not have it. On ESX, or to keep, rename or pay the job, follow Add the job.
6. Add it to server.cfg
Add these lines in this order. Skip lines for resources you already start, and keep your framework, inventory, target and phone above them.
ensure oxmysql
ensure ox_lib
ensure gg_lib
ensure gg_speakersystem_props
ensure gg_speakersystem
There is no config file and no SQL to run. The database tables are created on the first start. Every setting is in Script Studio: see Configuration.
Check it works
- Restart your server and check the console for red
[gg_speakersystem]lines. - Give yourself
gg_speaker_01and use it from your inventory. You carry the Pocket speaker. - Open Speaker Connect on your phone and play a song. You hear it from the speaker.
