How it works

#Speakers

1. Use a speaker item from your inventory to take it out.
2. Handheld speakers (Pocket, Plus, Max) play while you carry them. Stereos (Ground stereo, Tripod speaker, Event rig) and the Sub cabinet must be set down first: follow the on-screen keys to place, rotate or put it away.
3. Open Speaker Connect on your phone to pick a song, set the volume and link devices so they play together.

Look at a speaker you set down to get its options: Pick up, How to use and, on speakers with lights, Lights. Other players get Take down, which packs it away and leaves the item with its owner. You can turn that off in Configuration.

On a server without a supported phone, the speaker's own target has a Speaker Connect option that opens the app on screen.

By default a player can have 4 speakers out at once, and speakers only work in the main world, not in instanced interiors.

#Lights

Set a Beam light or Strobe light down near one of your speakers and it joins that speaker, moving and flashing with its music. Set its look from that speaker in Speaker Connect.

#Car tablets

1. Park your car and sit in a front seat.
2. Use a tablet item (gg_tablet_basic, gg_tablet_plus or gg_tablet_premium) to fit it to the dash.
3. Press Q in a front seat to open the tablet screen, and Q again to leave it.

The Premium tablet can drive a car subwoofer. Use gg_subwoofer from a front seat of the parked car or standing at its boot. One fits per car, and taking the tablet out, or Remove Subwoofer on the tablet's Sound page, gives it back.

By default players fit tablets to their own cars. Motorcycles, cycles, boats, aircraft, trains and open-wheel cars take no tablet.

Players can change the Q key in the game's settings under Key Bindings, FiveM, where it is listed as "Use GG Speaker System".

#The LS Audio shop

The shop is built into gg_speakersystem_props, near 470, -698. It has no map blip.

• Player-run (default): customers order speakers at the kiosk, and staff with the simmetsound job build each order at the shop machines. Car tablets, the car subwoofer and lights are rung up at the till. A ready order is collected at the counter.
• Standalone: everything is bought at once, with no staff needed.

Staff see and hand out orders at the shop computer. From the Boss Grade up (grade 3 by default) they also hire, promote, pay staff and order supplies with the business money. See Add the job.
